A car designed to strike fear into the hearts of criminals everywhere has been impounded by authorities in Russia.

The "Batmobile" - or more accurately a custom-made likeness of the superhero wagon seen in the film Batman V Superman - was spotted and seized by Moscow traffic police over concerns that it does not fit road safety regulations.

 Director Matt Reeves has given us our first look at Robert Pattinson in the batsuit for the upcoming The Batman, via a screen-test video.

The director of the new take on the dark knight posted a camera test to Vimeo, revealing a deeply shadowed Pattinson in costume as Batman, include shots of his bat symbol, as well as the actor in the cowl.

Apparently, the bat-symbol on the suit is supposed to be made from the gun that killed his parents.
