WB To Announce Batman 3 Plans Early Next Year?

WB To Announce Batman 3 Plans Early Next Year?

Batman Begins was released in 2005, we had to wait until 2008 for The Dark Knight. Statistically speaking, we should get a new Batman film in late 2011 (or early 2012) BUT, only if Nola is directing. I don't want to see another Batman film that soon if their is someone else attached as director. If we can't get Nolan back, for whatever reason, than WB shouldn't think about producing another Bat-flick until 2016. (there was 8 years between Batman and Robin and Batman Begins).

The great debate...

Blockbusters like “The Dark Knight” and “Watchmen” continue to produce major revenue for movie studios, but are the flawed heroes of these popular films really deserving of our adoration? This week, comic book super-fans Ian Boothby and David Pryde engage in an epic battler over whether comic book superheroes make good role models. Next up on our double bill of laughs and logic, comic Greg Morton uses many a funny voice to prove to Ron Sparks that “Star Wars” is better than “Lord of the Rings.” Once again “The Debaters” brings you epic battles of fact and funny.
The Debaters can be heard Wednesday at 11:30 on CBC Radio One.
Here is a clip from the show.

Oh those crazies over at WB. An episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold features the villain The "Music Meister". Are WB testing the waters for a Batman Musical???? With the announcement of Spider-Man the Musical are the boys at Warner Brothers thinking about retaliating??
I would like to caution them...they have tried this before. Batman: The Musical was written (including score) after the success of the Burton Batman films, but it never went into production. That's probably a good thing.
Anyway, enjoy the clip.

Tully Sanem built his homemade Batmobile go-kart in the small garage behind his apartment after seeing advertisements for “The Dark Knight” last year. Sanem hopes to sell schematics to others who want to build their own superhero vehicle.

“It's kind of strange when I was building it - everything just fell into place,” Sanem said. “It's kind of written in the stars.”

Star Trek

For Father's Day I got the afternoon "off" to go see a movie. Star Trek was my pic. Great movie!!! For people who know nothing about the Trek universe, this is a great little film to get you excited about the franchise and start watching the old Shatner and Nimoy series again. Cool Batman fan film

This is a great little film that is suppose to "bridge the gap" between BATMAN BEGINS and THE DARK KNIGHT. It was actually made in Chicago, and if you look closely, it's filmed on some of the same locations as BEGINS and TDK. It's edited with some of the original films as well.
So click here and take a look.
