Will Christopher Nolan Do a Third Batman?

While the internet is going crazy with casting rumours that aren't true for Christopher Nolan's possible third Batman movie, the director himself is on vacation as The Dark Knight approaches $500 million domestically.

The Hollywood Reporter has published an interesting article about the film's marketing and the deaths of both Heath Ledger and Conway Wickliffe before the film's release.

Oh those crazy Brits!!! Good on ya!!!

A custom car company has built a replica Batmobile and has orders for similar cars from around the world.

The Spirit...

So, the Spirit is coming out. Frank Miller and his green screens are making another appearance. Don't get me wrong I thought Sin City was a great flick....but I think people want to see "real" movies. Not ones entirely made from CGI etc. I believe that's one of the reason for the success of some movies (i.e. The Dark Knight and Batman Begins) People get more from a stunt done with real vehicles and real men rather than a computer generate one.
Just a thought

SPAMalot!!!!

I got to see Monty Python's SPAMalot this weekend. The touring company came through Calgary for 10 shows. What a fun show. I'm sure that the original Broadway show was spectacular!!!! but surely some scarifies had to be made for the touring show. Having said that....what fun!!!! Lots of jokes for the die-hard python fan (like me) and some great singing and spectacle. I'm happy to report that the Calgary sun of the show was sold out!!!
Check out the official site. It's still playing on Broadway, too!!!

Justice League

Justice League to Start Filming Next Year?
Source: Herald Sun
August 5, 2008

In an article at the Herald Sun in which director George Miller praises Megan Gale's screen test for Wonder Woman in the Justice League live-action movie, the following bit was dropped as well:

Initially slated to be filmed Down Under, Miller conceded production had been moved offshore, with a plan to resume filming next year.

There has been a lot of scuttlebutt about this movie. I don't think the film makers know what they are messing with. If they f**** this up there will be tremendous backlash from the comic/fanboy community.
