Someone just bought what could be this year’s most expensive Halloween costume.

A private collector bought a batsuit worn by Christian Bale in “The Dark Knight” and “The Dark Knight Rises” for £192,000 ($250,000). Another bidder snagged the batpod—the heavily armed motorcycle used by Batman as he battled the Joker and Bane in two “Dark Knight” movies—for £312,000. And since crime doesn't pay, Bane’s costume sold for £96,000.

And because it's written so well, I'm going to show up. I'm going to do everything I can because the writing is so good. And then there's a company like Netflix and they're not pressuring you either. They just want good material, good content. They give you money to make good content, so they're not pressuring actors to sign their life away either.... I think that there's this common ground where they say, 'Look, if the material is good are you going to show up?' and I said,  'Definitely'."

Production continues on Justice League at Leavesden Studios in London and director Zack Snyder has shared a new official image from the film showing off Ben Affleck’s Tactical Batsuit from the movie.

“Homestretch,” Snyder wrote on Twitter. “Last day filming Batman in the new Tactical Batsuit.”

J.K. Simmons Talks Justice League

"My part is done," Simmons said about filming for Commissioner Gordon in London. "They are filming that for basically most of 2016, so some of the superheroes are still at work in jolly old London, but I'm back home with my family."

J.K. Simmons also confirmed that most of his scenes are with Batman.

"Yeah, mostly with Ben," Simmons said. "In this first installment of the Justice League, Commissioner Gordon is not a particularly sizable part. We just kind of introduce him and see a little bit of his interactions with Batman -- and with most of the Justice League."

Batman Cosplay Breaks World Record

An incredible Batman outfit adorned with 23 functioning gadgets has earned its owner the world record for the Most functional gadgets on a cos-play suit.

The innovative creation appears in the new Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition 2017, out on 8 September.

Created by special creature effects expert Julian Checkley, the ingenious gadgets are concealed and attached to the Batman suit.
