You gotta love the fact that all these old T series are being released on DVD. Heres' the latest one....Superboy!! Personally, I can't wait for the really cheesey '70s version of Spiderman to be released!!!
From a 1991 cable TV trade magazine comes this large format ad for the third season of "The Adventures of Superboy" TV series, starring Gerard Christopher who replaced John Haymes Newton in season two.

Comics - News - Satanic image removed from DC title - Digital Spy

DC Comics has removed a satanic image from a cover design for Batman And Robin #15.

Drawn by Frank Quitely, the original cover illustration for the book depicted Robin and Dr Hurt in front of an upside-down crucifix.

However, the publisher has removed the background image for the retail version of the comic, which arrived in stores this week. It also shipped with a variant design from interior artist Frazer Irving.

Written by Grant Morrison, the issue serves as the final chapter in the 'Batman Must Die' plotline. The story sees Dick Grayson and Damian Wayne confront Dr Hurt for a final showdown.

When Marvel announced that 'The Incredible Hulk' would be returning to television in the wake of Warner's plans to revive 'Wonder Woman' for the small screen, the knee jerk reaction was to chalk it up to nostalgia programming. We've already seen 'Battlestar Galactica,' 'The Bionic Woman,' and 'Knight Rider' revived for TV; these moves just looked like more of that. However, a deeper look at Marvel's plans reveals that this isn't a retro cash-in, but part of a bigger push to establish their brand on television with the same success they've had on film.

Sorry for the dramatic headline but it really is appropriate. Like everyone else, Steve has been effected by the economic downturn, so much so that his house will be up for auction November 15th.

There's a lot of pages with the main characters left as well as plenty of pages with his fantastic spaceship designs (they are so very cool.)

His commission list is temporarily closed until he whittles down his backlog a bit but will be opened back up shortly.

Steve's originals are really handsome, and this may be doubly true of the ones that don't feature important characters (my brother owns one from his Marvel mini-series period that features nameless gangsters that's as handsome as any comics page we own between us), which makes all of his pages worth a gander.

If you're not in the market for original art or if it's out of your price range, the store link provided above takes you into a wealth of material at a wide variety of price points. I think Steve Rude is one of the really fine comics illustrators of the last 30 years and one of the most genuine ever in his desire to make stunning imagery on the page, so if you can find anything he's offering that you would like I think you'd be well-rewarded.

Now, with the addition of Zack Snyder in the director’s chair, a comic book movie “Dream Team” is complete. Zack Snyder is absolutely the right choice. He is the kind of director that Superman needs right now.

NOLAN is on board!!!!!!

You may have guessed, you may have assumed it, but until now we hadn't had confirmation from the studio or the man himself that Christopher Nolan would be back to direct Batman 3 / The Dark Knight 2 (or whatever we're calling it). But our Dan Jolin talked to the man himself earlier today, and got it straight from Nolan himself.
"It’s becoming inevitable, I’ll put it that way," says Nolan. "I feel myself falling into it, I guess. And getting it all figured out and I’m pretty excited about what we’re doing so… If I haven’t announced it, I think that people probably all know at this point that I’m doing it."
Hang on, that's not 100% clear: so we can safely assume you're directing?
"I think you can at this point, yes."
So as of right now, Nolan will return. You may also have spotted the "getting it all figured out" there: when we asked Nolan what he was busy with as we called, the answer was that he's working on Jonathan Nolan's script for the film. In other words, there is a script! Things are slowly taking shape!
