@JimLee Original Sketches

 Jim Lee (famous artist for Batman and DC Comics) posted a couple original sketches from the Heroes and Villains layout. I love the little notes at the bottom of the sketches, "Hush with a blooding axe, Ok?"

Batman’s got a new ride – I found out about this car via MSN.com and it looks like one badass bat car and it’s a Kia. This isn’t some kind of economy drive, it’s Bruce Wayne’s latest philanthropic project, a campaign to fight hunger in the Horn of Africa. Check out all the images and information taken from MSN.com about the car:

Canadian Military Action Figures!!

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scotia/story/2011/12/29/ns-action-figures-canadian-military.html

Nova Scotia man is one of three partners behind new action figures sporting Canadian military uniforms that they're trying to get on the market.
Although the figures may not become as popular as G.I. Joe, the first-ever Canadian military action figures are starting to sell quickly in Nova Scotia.
"Once they're all sold and $6,000 goes to the soldiers' fund, then we'd love to expand into different areas, maybe [add] more to the line, a female character. We have some ideas," Sperry said.
The action figures are only available in four locations in Nova Scotia — two in the Truro area, one in Dartmouth and another in Bridgewater. They're also availabe in select locations in Ontario.

Marvel is Bringing Back Canadian Super-Team Alpha Flight!!!!

I'm pretty excited about this, I just bought the complete run on eBay last fall.

Beginning in June, Canada will once again see its greatest superheroes return to action.
Earlier today, Marvel Comics announced that Alpha Flight will be relaunched this June as an eight issue maxi-series by the writing team of Greg Pak and Fred Van Lente with art by Dale Eaglesham. The events in Alpha Flight will tie into Marvel's Fear Itself crossover as well.
Alpha Flight was created by John Byrne in 1979 in Uncanny X-Men #120. Byrne later shepherded Alpha Flight into their first ongoing series which ran for 11 years. Three revivals have been published since then, including an Omega Flight miniseries in 2007.
