The Batman has reportedly resumed filming over in London after star Robert Pattinson was cleared of COVID-19 infection. Warner Bros. has made the official announcement about The Batman's production status: "Following a hiatus for COVID 19 quarantine precautions, filming has now resumed on The Batman in the U.K.," the studio told Variety. Production on The Batman was shut down on September 3rd when COVID-19 tests for members of the crew (including Pattinson) came back positive. Soon after, there was an erroneous report that The Batman director Matt Reeves would keep filming scenes without Pattinson; but it turned out that the entire cast and crew had to be quarantined. Now it seems like things have cleared up, and it's back to work.

 https://www.insider.com/comic-how-united-states-lost-control-of-coronavirus-pandemic-2020-9

The US practically invented the playbook of how to confront pandemics. Presidents — both Republican and Democratic — worked to ensure that if a pandemic came, there would be an effective plan to respond. Yet while other countries used that playbook and succeeded in doing what was necessary to get the corona-virus under control, the Trump administration threw out the plan.

What happened?

Conroy’s Batman Can Now Narrate Your Commute

 https://nerdist.com/article/kevin-conroy-batman-waze-navigator-voice/?amp=&__twitter_impression=true

I got the App this morning. You should too!

Waze, Google’s driving navigation app, just added a fun new feature. (News we learned from our pals at io9.) From now until October 31, Kevin Conroy—arguably the best Batman there ever was—can now narrate your navigation as Batman. That’s right, the Batman: The Animated Series star can be your personal chauffeur. Or, if you’re more of a villain person, you can select Wally Wingert as the Riddler (from Batman: Arkham) to guide you instead.
