The Avengers - Official Trailer #2

Well here it is............
I have to admit, it looks pretty freakin' awesome, I mean for a film that doesn't have Batman in it.

Check out a new comic from my close personal friend (well, I DO know him) Micheal McAdam. He will be at the Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo again this year too.

Written and Illustrated by Michael McAdam Dean Meek

A terrorist is threatening to blow up a dam. Out of nowhere comes THUNDER, a flying man who can throw lightning bolts. Who is this supernatural stranger? Meet Devon Wells, a polite Canadian man with a half-mortal, half-god heritage, trying to find his way in the world-- which involves technological armor, old gods, magical powers, computer geeks and aliens!

Half-mortal, half Norse God, Devon Wells returns home to Canada after a youth spent in Asgard and steps onto the path to becoming a hero.

Can't make your own Batmobile????

http://www.digitaltrends.com/cars/making-your-own-batmobile-violates-copyright-according-to-new-court-ruling/
If you've been planning to buy a replica Batmobile, you should probably do it now -- because they might not be available much longer.
Custom cars based on movie or television props have generally resided in murky legal waters, with vehicles often covered by a different set of guidelines than other works due to their ability to serve a wide variety of necessary purposes. It looks like that could be changing, however, as a court recently ruled that copyright rules extend to car design — especially when that car is a replica of the Batmobile.

We can be Heroes

One small act can make you a hero. Give now. Support our nonprofit partners working on the ground in the Horn of Africa and DC Entertainment will match your donation 100%.

Archetype by Aaron Sims

Watch this stunning fan-film. Excellently done, and from what I understand, cheaply done too. Not that you'd be able to tell.

RL7 is an eight-foot tall combat robot that goes on the run after malfunctioning with vivid memories of once being human. As its creators and the military close in, RL7 battles its way to uncovering the shocking truth behind its mysterious visions and past.

Bill: The Boy Wonder

Noblemania: The cover for my 2012 picture book on Batman:

Thirty-eight years ago, Bill Finger, uncredited co-creator of Batman, died. No mainstream publication ran an obituary.

Twenty-two weeks from today, you will see this humble attempt at rectifying that.

Here's the first preview:

Though we've seen it before in set photos and in toy form, this represents the first officially released image of the craft so far.

OSCAR paying props to Heath

http://batman-news.com/2012/02/09/heath-ledgers-joker-the-dark-knight-featured-in-oscars-ad/

The Oscars air live on February 26th and today a new ad campaign was revealed. The advertisements all feature the words “We Showed You” followed by a reference to a great movie of the past. One of those great movies happens to be The Dark Knight, and Heath Ledger as The Joker is featured prominently. As I’m sure you know, Ledger won a posthumous Oscar in 2009 for his brilliant performance as The Joker in The Dark Knight.

Does this mean that "superhero" movies will get a close look?????
