I Was Robin's Daughter
It’s Lisa Ward’s birthday today, so we re-present this interview from the cavernous 13th Dimension vault. Happy birthday, Lisa!
What’s your earliest recollection of knowing your dad was Robin the Boy Wonder?Lisa: Probably grade school. He was just Dad to me (who) just happened to be on TV, no big deal. I didn’t pay it much attention then. What I didn’t realize is that once I moved with my mother to a small town in Washington state when I was 6 that the kids in school wouldn’t believe me. That’s when I realized he was a little different than most other fathers.

Canadian Man Builds 60's Batmobile
http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/rod-warkentin-builds-batmobile-manitoba-1.3496236
A Manitoba man spent the past two years building a replica of the 1966 Batmobile in his Batcave, err, workshop. The car will have its public debut this weekend at the World of Wheels car show in the RBC Convention Centre in Winnipeg. It all started when Rod Warkentin was 12 or 13 years old watching Adam West play Batman in the TV series."I always wanted to have that car. I thought the car was the coolest thing ever... Some 35, 40 years later, I got one," said Warkentin.
Check out the link above for video of the car.

LEGO BATMAN 60's Series
http://robot6.comicbookresources.com/2016/01/lego-officially-unveils-its-classic-batman-tv-series-batcave-set/
Although we talked about it last week, LEGO apparently wanted to hold off until today — the 50th anniversary of the premiere of the 1966 Batman series — to make it official: The LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Batman: Classic TV Series – Batcave will arrive in stores in March.
Along with the announcement arrives the first official images of the elaborate 2,500-piece set, which includes not just the Batmobile, Batcycle and Batcopter, but also a whopping nine figurines.

60's Batman LEGO set !?!?!?!
http://www.bricksandbloks.com/lego-batman-classic-tv-series-batcave-revealed-photos/
It looks like the LEGO Batman Classic TV Batcave will include nine Minifigures,(Batman, Robin, Bruce Wayne (Adam West), Dick Grayson (Burt Ward), Alfred Pennyworth the Butler, The Joker, The Riddler, The Penguin and Catwoman Minifigures) all of which are exclusives in these iterations (although I believe Dick Grayson is the only character we’ve never seen released as a minifig before in his non-Robin guise).
