We all know that superheroes like to get around in style, whether it’s Batman’s Batmobile or Captain America’s motorbike. But what if our favorite superheroes from the Marvel and DC universes had to buy their rides in the real world? Volkswagen Motor Parts transformed the biggest heroes from both Marvel and DC into cars and the results are pretty damn cool.

Warner Bros. is currently holding a big shareholder meeting today, and during the meeting the studio revealed some big release date information for their slate of upcoming DC superhero movies. Thanks to Ben Fritz of the Wall Street Journal, we have learned the following details that includes information about Suicide Squad, Justice League 2; Aquaman; Cyborg; a new standalone Superman movie; a standalone Batman movie, and a Green Lantern reboot. They also revealed the actor who will be playing The Flash in a standalone film. Here are all of the details we know so far:

"First DC movie after Batman vs Superman will be Suicide Squad."
"Wonder Woman movie coming in 2017!"
"2nd DC movie in 2017: Justice League"
"2018 DC Movies: The Flash starring Ezra Miller and Aquaman starring Jason Momoa"
"2019 DC Movies: Shazam (with Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam) and Justice League 2"
"Other DC movies in the works: Cyborg, a Green Lantern reboot, and new stand-alone Superman and Batman movies."

Joker's Daughter?

This morning, DC Comics updated their new blog “What’s New in The New 52″ with this character design for “The Joker’s Daughter” accompanied only by the phrase “Something evil lurks under Gotham City and it wears the Joker’s face.”

And the new Robin is..............

looks like the new Robin in the DC Universe could be Carrie Kelley.
Carrie first appeared in Frank Miller and Klaus Janson‘s seminal Dark Knight Returns, taking up the rolw of Robin, and later appeared as Catgirl in Dark Knight Strikes Again twenty years leter. These stories however have never been part of the official history of the DC Universe, both before and after the recent reboot.

Captain Canuck in DC Universe!

Here is a pretty accurate recreation of that great Canadian superhero and icon, Captain Canuck (created by Richard Comely in 1975) in DC Universe Online for PS3. This was created in the beta test for the game with the full retail release coming Jan 11, 2011. I was pretty impressed that I could get an almost completely faithful creation of the iconic Canadian superhero.

I took some artistic license and give him freezing powers (since he's Canadian) and the power of flight. I also make sure he's polite to a fault and always apologizes when he punches someone in the face. He can also get through a Tim Horton's line up in under 30 seconds which makes him, perhaps the most powerful superhero in the world.

Superman co-creator Joe Shuster had a secret identity as a fetish artist. Shuster and his Superman partner Jerry Seigel saw none of the riches Superman was making for DC Comics, or National as it was known during the 30s and 40s. In fact both were sacked after they tried to get a share of the money. To pay the bills, Shuster took a job illustrating a pulp magazine called Night of Horrors, which featured sado-masochistic scenes of women whipping men and men liking it.
