OOPS!!!! retract (but its' not my fault, really!)

Joseph-Gordon-Levitt

Joseph Gordon-Levitt, long-rumored to be joining his Inception brethren in The Dark Knight Rises, will appear in director Christopher Nolan’s third Batman film. But a source close to the situation says that recent reports that Gordon-Levitt will play Alberto Falcone (a.k.a. the Holiday Killer) — the son of former mob kingpin, Carmine Falcone (Tom Wilkinson) — are incorrect. The first image of the villains and a song (written by U2′s Bono and Edge) debuted on Good Morning America today. The image above is of the Green Goblin and Swiss Miss (a knife-based villainess created for the musical).
Uhh..No Thanks.

You get your duds, sure (Colin Farrell in Daredevil, anyone?), but that part could have easily gone to someone else. And sometimes, the guy you see in the tights wasn't the first guy who was picked for the role...
