OOPS!!!! retract (but its' not my fault, really!)
Joseph Gordon-Levitt, long-rumored to be joining his Inception brethren in The Dark Knight Rises, will appear in director Christopher Nolan’s third Batman film. But a source close to the situation says that recent reports that Gordon-Levitt will play Alberto Falcone (a.k.a. the Holiday Killer) — the son of former mob kingpin, Carmine Falcone (Tom Wilkinson) — are incorrect. So, Batman fans: Begin the re-speculation now!

Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark Villains
So first impressions....."lets have two villains that look the same with spiky things sticking out everywhere".
I've blogged about this before, here and here. The Broadway debut of Spiderman. We'll have to wait and see on this one. They have some big names behind the production....but will people actually pay to see it. Based on these pics, I think not.

After a long wait and multiple delays, the new Marvel Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark is going to debut in November. The first image of the villains and a song (written by U2′s Bono and Edge) debuted on Good Morning America today. The image above is of the Green Goblin and Swiss Miss (a knife-based villainess created for the musical).

9 Actors Who Almost Played Superheroes and Villains...
Here's a article from TOPLESS ROBOT about some casting rumours that had happened over the years.
Whether you're on the side of Christian Bale or Michael Keaton, Brandon Routh or Christopher Reeve, or Tobey Maguire over whatever-unknown-they-get-to-play-Spider-Man, you know how important casting is to a movie. You get your duds, sure (Colin Farrell in Daredevil, anyone?), but that part could have easily gone to someone else. And sometimes, the guy you see in the tights wasn't the first guy who was picked for the role...
