According to a new report from THR, Keaton will indeed be wearing the Batman costume in the new movie. This means he won't be version of Bruce Wayne fans have seen in the animated series Batman Beyond, who typically sits in the Batcave and guides his protege Terry McGinnis as the "guy in the chair."

Michael Keaton in Talks to Return as Batman for The Flash Film
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Keaton is in negotiations with Warner Bros. to reprise the role in the upcoming The Flash film, which will adapt the Flashpoint
storyline. Should Keaton strike a deal, he could play a Nick Fury-like
role in the DC Extended Universe; that is, he could appear in multiple
DC films -- including Batgirl -- in a smaller, mentor-like role.

THE BATMAN Given the OK to Restart Filming in the UK
According to THE GUARDIAN, Warner Bros. Pictures’ THE BATMAN is one of several big-budget film/TV productions that have been given the green light to resume filming.
Safety guidelines — created by the British Film Commission and the British Film Institute — have been OK’ed by the UK’s Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), Public Health England and the Health and Safety Executive (CLICK HERE for more info on that story). It will still be up to each individual production to decide how, and when, to restart filming.

Legendary Batman writer, Denny O'Neil dies at age 81
Dennis J. "Denny" O'Neil has died at age 81. As confirmed by his family,
the legendary comic book writer died at home of natural causes on the
night of June 11.
During his time on Batman, he created/co-created Ra’s al Ghul, Talia al
Ghul, Leslie Thompkins, Azrael, and Richard Dragon; he was also involved
in the revitalization of the Joker and Two-Face as modern DC villains,
and oversaw the death of Jason Todd, the second Robin.
