GENERATION 1 - HERO (fan film)

While Paramount Pictures continues to develop a crap ton of new Transformers sequels and spin-offs, a group of fans got together and made the Transformers movie fans really want to see. As Sploid says, it's better than any of the live action Michael Bay Transformers films thus far, and their obviously tiny budget, homemade costumes, and low-fi VFX are a huge part of the reason the short works as well as it does.

Generation:1 is a fan made live action transformers "costuming" movie
featuring the characters of the original Transformers G1 cartoon series
from the 80's using practical effects and in camera effects.

http://www.wired.com/underwire/2011/06/thai-sculptor-autobots/

Giant Transformers sculptures made from recycled automobile and truck parts will be rolled out at Ripley’s Believe It or Not locations around the world this summer.
The Autobot art pieces, which come in 19-foot-tall and 8-foot tall versions, are being created by Thailand-based artist Anchalee Saengtai for England’s famous freak show.

Dark Side of the Moon-Transformers (not Pink Floyd)

A mysterious event from Earth's past erupts into the present day and threatens to bring a war to Earth so big that the Transformers alone will not be able to save us.

The Bat-Sentry

This is one of the greatest things I seen.
A custom made Batman Transformer. A cross between the forever-cool Batmobile of the early 1940's and a Transformer, the Bat-Sentry robots appeared in the alternate future of DC's Kingdom Come.  Jin Saotome made the above custom Bat-Sentry for Wizard Magazine a few years back.
