Now it appears that it's going to be made into a feature film! The original writer/director has launched an campaign to crowd fund it!

Never heard of "Black Angel" before today? 

There's a fascinating story that accompanies the 34-year-old short film. It was directed by Roger Christian, the Oscar-winning art director of Star Wars and Alien, and George Lucas commissioned the short to be made so it could debut in front of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back in theaters in Europe. It's a fantasy film that had a big influence on sword and sorcery movies that followed, including John Boorman's Excalibur (Boorman showed it to his entire crew before filming that movie), and also impacted Empire itself, since Lucas used Christian's "step-printing" technique to slow down one of the lightsaber fight sequences.

Last week Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder accused a Stormtrooper of stealing the Batmobile. Star Wars: Episode VII director J.J. Abrams took to Twitter today and fired back by calling Batman’s ride a “hunk of junk”, and showed Snyder exactly what the massive Millennium Falcon would do to the Batmobile.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder is still having fun with his Star Wars mashups in a running joke he started that brings two worlds together. This latest one includes the Gotham City Police arresting a Stormtrooper. Looks like the Stormtrooper was  taking a joyride in the Batmobile. Yesterday a rumor hit the net that the Batmobile had been stolen from the set of the film. It's not true, and this photo amusingly makes fun of the rumor. The caption that came with the photo is, "Case closed." In case you can't tell, the cop standing by the Batmobile is holding the Stormtrooper's blaster.
