Heritage Auction Gallery just had an sale this week on a mint condition Detective #27...y'know, the one where Batman first appeared. It was published in May 1939.The winning bid was.......$1,075,500.00 and no, I, sadly, wasn't the winner.

Batmobile in Cambodia
This picture was taken in Cambodia by a tourist. It's a "Cambodian Batman Taxi". It's a large Bicycle-Cart that is pulled by a Moped Motorcycle. They call these things TUK-TUK's. There is actually an entire sub-culture revolving around these very unique vehicles. nifty!!

DEADLING HOLLYWOOD has posted a story this morning saying that not only will Chris Nolan direct BATMAN 3 -- which they insist is currently being scripted by David Goyer and Jonathan Nolan -- but he will also oversee the development of a new Superman film for Warner Bros.!
