George Barris Dies at 89

"Sorry to have to post that my father, legendary kustom car king George Barris, has moved to the bigger garage in the sky," Brett Barris wrote.
George Barris, the car designer who created the iconic 1966 Batmobile for the Batman television series, has died, according to a Facebook post  written by his son, Brett Barris. He was 89

The Man Who Killed Batman (or at least the franchise)

Clooney went on to apologize for his portrayal of the Dark Knight once again, and even admitted that he thought he destroyed the Batman franchise (he kind of did!). He then told a hilarious story about working on Batman & Robin, and Joel Schumacher’s directing style.

George Miller Officially Off Justice League




Dark Horizons reports that filmmaker George Miller appeared on Sydney-based morning talk show "Sunrise" on Monday and confirmed he's no longer involved with the Justice League movie in any capacity.

Miller indicated that if the project does get going again, he expects that it'll be recast as "the studios seem to want bigger stars in their superhero movies now."

Miller added that he'd like to work with Mel Gibson again and while the actor doesn't want to do the "Mad Max" script he wrote, he hasn't given up on that possibility just yet.

The Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo is coming up at the end of the month. April 26-27. This is the 3rd year for the Expo and it promises to be the best yet.
