River City to Gotham City: Scots actor Sam Heughan dons the cape in Batman Live

IT'S a long way from River City to Gotham City, but Scots actor Sam Heughan is delighted to be swinging back into Scotland in his biggest role yet.

The former soap star takes to the stage in front of a home crowd as the caped crusader in the stunning new stage show Batman Live.

Heughan has been wowing crowds down south with his lead role in the multi-million pound, stunt-filled spectacular which arrives at Glasgow's SECC next Wednesday.

And while he may be best known for his work in the BBC soap, and as Hugh Tennent in the recent comedy beer adverts, 21-year-old Sam's hit run as the comic book superhero has made him one of the most talked-about young stars in the country.

Here is the first Amazing Spiderman trailer that just happened to be released the same week as TDKR teaser. Is the summer of 2012 gonna be DC vs. Marvel????
BTW, does anyone else find it funny the the director of the Spiderman reboot is named Webb???

World's only actual turbine powered Batmobile

This is the only Bat car created that makes fiction reality. It is powered by a military spec turboshaft engine driving the rear wheels through a semi automatic gearbox. Built in 2011 by Casey Putsch. Casey Putsch has the Putsch Racing facility. Check out the Putsch YouTube site for more videos.
